About

My name is Alejandra Schrader. I am a chef, food TV personality, entrepreneur, and activist based in Los Angeles, CA.

I have been featured on all major TV networks in the United States and have done cooking segments on national shows such as The Talk, Access Hollywood Live, Home & Family, and Despierta América. My interviews have been featured on high-profile printed media outlets from The New York Times to InTouch Weekly magazine.

My culinary career got started after participating on FOX’s popular cooking competition “MasterChef” with Chef Gordon Ramsay. I was one Season 2’s top finalists and later named fan-favorite.

For the last 10 years, I’ve been working in the culinary world. I own a private chef and food consulting business, I work with food brands developing recipes and creative content, and I represent renowned brands in award-winning PR campaigns.

I have received a Certificate in Plant Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies at Cornell University. I have been invited to speak at the United Nations and the World Bank to share my expertise on sustainable diets as they relate to a greener planet.

I am a passionate cook. From my kitchen, I travel around the world while preparing plant-based dishes that are diverse, delicious, and nutrient-dense. I am now in the process of writing my first cookbook and excited to share some of the exploratory process in this blog.

Hope you enjoy the recipes!
